Had a couple nice studio visits this month with artists Mark Perlman in Sebastopol and Mark Bowles in Sacramento.

Flew into Albuquerque Friday then drove to Santa Fe. It’s a long and funny story meeting Deborah Fritz and George on my way back from Bemis, but I’m now represented in Santa Fe. Friday was the Grand Opening of Gallery Fritz in the Railyard, Santa Fe, NM.

I finally met artists, Joe Ramiro Garcia, Greg Tucker and saw my good friend and master printer Wynden Cadden. I’ve known her since we had studios at the Coal Shed on Mare Island in Vallejo in 2004. Talk about serendipity, I met a good friend from my Fresno State days, Constanza, who married African American Playwright, August Wilson. She lives in Seattle, but just happened to walk in because her sister lives in Santa Fe. Small world, ha!

Great crowd and fun evening! Congrates Deborah, George, Stephen and Lilly!!

Friday, June 8th is the Grand Opening of Gallery Fritz in Santa Fe's Railyard. So I decided to go out there. Will post some pics of the opening!! This is an ad in THE Magazine.

I think I finished the painting I started at Bemis (on the left) so now I need to deal with the other one!

This is a photo from George at Gallery Fritz in Santa Fe. They installed STAYSIS, the painting I did at Bemis. I'll be heading out to Santa Fe for the inaugural opening on June 8th.

On June 1st I had a reception for my show at Fourth Wall in Oakland. It was nice to see and be supported by so many friends. If you haven't seen the work, it'll be up till July 7th.
